Micayla

This family brought me a gown from 1994 that was badly aged and yellowed. The gown did not fit the bride. In order for her to be able to wear this gown I needed to first restore it to it’s original condition and then tailor it to fit her properly. I deconstructed the entire gown and recreated a new dress using the materials of the original gown. The finished product was just stunning. She was very excited to be able to wear her mother’s dress. She was so happy that it was restored and fit her like a glove. The transformation this gown went through was nothing short of miraculous. I was able to take something well loved and recreate it to be loved again by the next generation.
